OUR FOCUS The First Tee of Connecticut (TFTCT) is a youth development organization that uses golf as its vehicle to teach life skills and The First Tee’s Nine Core Values to children throughout the state. TFTCT is a chapter of The First Tee®, an organization that is recognized as one of the premier youth character-education groups in the country. TFTCT is a designated charity of the Connecticut State Golf Association and is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. We have been supported in part by the USGA and select corporations, foundations and individuals. The mission of The First Tee of Connecticut is to impact the lives of young people throughout Connecticut by providing programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.
