The First Tee of Connecticut works to Impact, Influence & Inspire young people across the state through its Life Skills Curriculum and the game of golf!  Registration for spring programs will begin on Monday, March 2nd.

What’s new at The First Tee of Connecticut

Open Houses

Visit The First Tee of Connecticut's Open Houses to learn more about 2015 programs and upcoming events, introduce your friends to the our chapter and associated programs, hit some shots in one of 2 indoor hitting nets, practice your putting on the indoor green or play a hole on the High Definition Golf Simulator.  There is no cost to attend these Open House Events.

The First Tee National Opportunity - Sankaty Head Caddie Camp

The Sankaty Head Caddie Camp will once again select up to four participants from The First Tee to attend and reside at the camp as caddies during summer 2015.  Three members of The First Tee of Connecticut were selected to attend the camp in 2014!  The motto at the Sankaty Head Caddie Camp is "Give the Caddie Camp a Boy and We Will Give You a Confident Young Man, Responsible for Himself, and Engaged in Making All Around Him Even Better"

Ted May Inducted Into Connecticut Golf Hall of Fame

The First Tee of Connecticut's Chairman of the Board, Ted May was inducted into the Connecticut Golf Hall of Fame at the Connecticut State Golf Association's Annual Meeting on December 4, 2014. Mr. May has been involved with Connecticut's professional golf tournament, now the Travelers Championship, since the 1970's and was a founding member of The First Tee of Hartford in 1999.  Click here to read more.
