The First Tee of Connecticut works to Impact, Influence & Inspire young people across the state through its Life Skills Curriculum in partnership with 20 golf facilities and 147 schools.  Registration for Spring Program will begin on Monday, March 7.

NEW PROGRAM LOCATION - 2016

The First Tee of Connecticut is excited to announce the addition of a new Program Location for 2016.

Richter Park Golf Course in Danbury will offer PLAYer and Par Level programs during the spring, summer and fall.

Wells Fargo Succeeding Together Contest

This year, the Wells Fargo Succeeding Together contest is encouraging teenage participants of The First Tee to showcase the importance of being part of a “Go-To-Team” and working together.

Eligible participants of The First Tee can enter through an application and essay process beginning Feb. 1 through Mar. 20, 2016.  Judges will select ten finalists and then ultimately four winners, each of whom will win a trip to the 2016 Wells Fargo Championship with one grand prize winner experiencing the thrill of playing golf with a PGA TOUR pro during the pro-am on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.

Drive, Chip & Putt Championship @ Augusta National

Registration for this year’s Drive, Chip & Putt Championship is now open by clicking here.  We are excited to announce that local qualifying will be conducted in all 50 states. Junior golfers will have the opportunity to participate at over 250 local qualifiers around the country throughout the summer of 2016.  Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so you are encouraged to register your junior golfer as soon as possible.

  • Monday, July 11 at Willow Brook Golf Course in South Windsor
  • Friday, July 22 at the Golf Center at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield
  • Tuesday, August 2 at The First Tee of Connecticut in Cromwell as part of the 2016 Travelers Championship
  • Sub-Regional - Sunday, August 14 at The First Tee of Connecticut in Cromwell.

The First Tee Scholars Program

The Scholars Program is a distinction awarded to participants who excel in academics, leadership, character development, and chapter and community involvement.

The deadline to apply is February 26.
